(Aeronautical) Freshers for a Trainee Technical Author position\u00a0in Lionbridge, Bangalore.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Eligibility:<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nQualification: AME &amp;\u00a0B.E.(Aero)\u00a0Recent pass out (2018 )<br \/>\nShould be interested to take up a career in technical Writing (This is not a design profile)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Date<\/strong>\u00a0: We will Inform you later<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Role:<\/strong>\u00a0Apprentice Technical Author<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<strong>Employment Mode:<\/strong>\u00a0Apprenticeship (Conversion to Permanent rolls after one year based on performance)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<strong>Work Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Bangalore or Chennai<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<strong>Assessment Structure:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Technical test English, Engineering Drawing, Basics of Aircraft Engine, Aircraft Maintenance Tools<\/li>\n<li>Technical Interview for candidates who clear the Test (will happen on a different date, Test shortlists will be informed on the same)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Purpose of Position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>The Trainee Technical Author will be accountable for developing knowledge and capability to be able to author tasks; meet production schedules and ensure that the quality of authored tasks meets the set specification and standards.<\/li>\n<li>They should work with a minimum of supervision and ensure that the deliverables are available within the designated frame and to the necessary quality level.<\/li>\n<li>They will support a culture to deliver right first time documents and illustrations, and will consistently strive to improve delivery standards and exceed customer expectations.<\/li>\n<li>They will be expected to develop the ability to author complex tasks when they arise, to defined quality standards and productivity norms adhering to schedule.<\/li>\n<li>They are required to follow the Author training program and successfully pass the assessments required to qualify as a Technical Author in the agreed timescale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Responsibilities \/ Job Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Create\/edit manuals based on inputs from client.<br \/>\nBasic understanding of authoring tools like Epic Editor\/Frame Maker, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in all aspects of the product development life cycle from authoring to delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Works closely with the Sr. Technical Author\/Team Lead to deliver high quality outputs in line with set productivity.<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain personal training and development records.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance: Ensures Lionbridge Authoring processes are followed.<\/li>\n<li>Culture: Delivery of &#8216;Right First Time&#8217; ethos.<\/li>\n<li>Process Improvement: Supports continuous improvements in process and delivery and works with stakeholders internally to share best practice.<\/li>\n<li>People: Works with Production team, Team Lead, Technical Lead and Training Manager to consistently improve knowledge\/performance, and highlights concerns to necessary management stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Data Security: Adheres to Lionbridge data security policy and ensures confidentiality of all documents and records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Lionbridge Technologies is recruiting\u00a0 for AME &amp; B.E.
